June 20th – San Diego: Professional Mixed Martial Arts has finally come back to America’s Finest City. On Sunday July 24th California Fight Syndicate presents, The Uprising. CFS, California’s premier fight league, comes to the 4th&B Event Center in the heart of downtown San Diego. This card will feature both professional and amateur bouts and will showcase some of the best MMA talent in Southern California.
In the main event, hometown fighter and UFC veteran, Shannon Gugerty, will face the former WEC warrior, Cruz Gomez in a lightweight title fight. Gugerty looks to use his submission arsenal to end to the winning streak of Gomez. Also on the card Gareth Joseph, Strikeforce veteran Casey Ryan, Alex Garcia, Preston Scharf and many more.
