New Mexico’s own Rafael “Barata” Freitas and Josh “The Destroya” Montoya will be headlining the event . “FRIDAY NIGHT FIGHTS! 5.27.11.” will take place on Friday, May 27 at the Clovis Civic Center in Clovis, New Mexico. According to Martin Singleterry, president of Evolution Combat Sports Championship, “Fans will not want to miss the May 27 FNF event! The fight card is stacked with great match-ups including a main event bout between world champion Gracie jiu-jitsu black belt Rafael “Barata” Freitas and KOTC veteran Josh Montoya. The co-main features local pro fighters Robert Meehan vs. Gilbert Cuhen. Cuhen is a U.S. soldier stationed here at Cannon Air Force Base. It is an honor to have him on the card.”
