Moscow, Russia (March 15, 2011) – Coming off the heels of its 2011 kick-off event and in anticipation of its return to the United States, Europe’s leading mixed martial arts promotion announces M-1 Challenge XXV: Zavurov vs. Magomedov 2. On April 28th from the Ice Palace in St. Petersburg, Russia, current welterweight (170 Lbs) champion Shamil Zavurov (19-1) looks to make his second successful title defense and avenge the sole loss on his otherwise unblemished record against top contender, Rashid Magomedov (8-1). Also featured on the card is a standout bout between Russian middleweight (185 Lbs) fan-favorite, Andrei Semenov and Luigi ‘The Italian Tank’ Fioravanti who is making his second trip across the pond intent to shock the hometown crowd.
