An interesting dynamic has happened today in the world of MMA as the PPV leader of the sport UFC/Zuffa LLC has announced as of 2011 it absorbed it’s wholly owned subsidiary the WEC and all it’s weight classes into the UFC. Dana has said all WEC staff will stay on board with the UFC and there will be a championship fight with Jose Aldo on the Jan. 2011 card.
Although the details are still emerging the questions are how will Versus and Spike play together and what will the UFC do with all these fighters under one roof? Stay tuned.
