“The Doctor” is Back! Giorgio Petrosyan Returns at GLORY 25 Milan on November 6

New York, NY – After nearly two years away, master technician Giorgio “The Doctor” Petrosyan (78-2-1, 35 KO) makes his long awaited return to the GLORY ring at GLORY 25 Milan from the PalaIper in Monza, Italy on Friday, Nov. 6.

 “Giorgio is one of the best pound-for-pound strikers on the planet. In fact, he ranks among the very best of all time across [all]combat sports,” said GLORY CEO Jon Franklin. “Fans worldwide will once again get to see ‘The Doctor’ go to work. At GLORY 25 he’ll be facing a top lightweight on his home soil of Italy. This is a huge fight for Petrosyan and this event will be very special.”

Additional bouts for GLORY 25 Milan, including Petrosyan’s lightweight opponent and the participants in GLORY’s one-night, four-man Welterweight Contender Tournament will be announced at a later date. The tournament winner will have earned the next shot at GLORY Welterweight World Champion Nieky Holzken.
